Skilled Mechanic / Vehicle Technician
CLASSIFICATION: Regular Full-Time
PAY: $55,000-65,000 (depending on experience and skill level)
SCHEDULE: M-F, 9:00AM – 5:00PM
LOCATION: Longmont, CO
BENEFITS: Insurance and Paid Time Off (starting at 15 days/year)
Job Overview:
Rossmönster is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Custom Van and Truck Camper Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our growing operation, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues in custom van conversions and truck campers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing required installs on client vehicle conversions
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
- Completing scheduled routine maintenance
- Working cohesively with the shop and customer experience teams in order to stay on schedule and exceed customer expectations
- Engage in a variety of tasks, ensuring no two days are the same
Requirements:
- 3+ years of automotive repair experience
- Knowledge and experience with chassis upgrades
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have a valid driver’s liscense
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Experience:

Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance and repair

Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques

Proficiency in routine vehicle maintenance, automative electrical systems, and chassis upgrades

Ability to effectively use hand tools and specialized equipment

Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred
