Adventure Vehicle Electrician

CLASSIFICATION: Regular Full-Time

PAY: $55,000-65,000 (depending on experience and skill level)

SCHEDULE: M-F, 9:00AM – 5:00PM

LOCATION: Longmont, CO

BENEFITS: Insurance and Paid Time Off (starting at 15 days/year)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Adventure Vehicle Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive electrical systems, along with a passion for outdoor adventures and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. As an Adventure Vehicle Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting electrical components and systems in our custom-built adventure vehicles. From solar panels and battery systems to lighting and entertainment systems, you will play a key role in bringing our customers’ dream vehicles to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and wire electrical components and systems in adventure vehicles, including solar panels, batteries, inverters, interior and exterior lighting, audio/video systems, and more.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure the reliability and functionality of vehicle systems.
  • Work closely with other members of the conversion team to integrate electrical components seamlessly into vehicle designs.
  • Adhere to safety standards and best practices to ensure the quality and integrity of all electrical work.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in the automotive or RV industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with solar power systems, battery management systems, auxiliary LED lighting systems, and other renewable energy technologies preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a focus on producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for outdoor adventures and a commitment to sustainability.
  • Excellent communication skills.
